Today I purchased a bike then promptly went on a 22 mile bike ride with my dad! My used bike was only $200 and can cruise on the road. Our bike ride took us from Cape Elizabeth to Higgins beach, which is a beautiful ride. Going out, we took Sawyer Road where only a few cars passed us. Coming back, we chose Route 77 to Shore Road which definitely had more traffic, but the scenery along the ocean was well worth it.

Let’s just say that 22 miles was a stretch for the first ride out of the season! It’s just set high standards for future rides.
