Springtime in Paris!

My mom and I went to a  cooking class at Stonewall Kitchen titled, Springtime in Paris.  While I’ve never actually been to Paris, it was a fun way to spend the evening, taste awesome food and learn a little something new.  For instance, one of the courses we had were mussels, something that known as street food in Paris.  The way in which people in France eat mussels is something I’ve never seen before, and I will adopt this newfound technique.  Take the shell of the mussel and use it as your utensil to pull out other mussels.  How cool is that?  In addition to the pedestrian street food, we made poached salmon, arugula salad with maple syrup mustard – all simply delicious!  Subscribe to Stonewall Kitchen Portland’s store to learn more about their culinary classes.
