Dear HGTV - Please help us transform our retro 1960's kitchen - it needs a serious makeover! Our over is from 1968. We like to think it's vintage, but really it's just realllyyyy old. The painted cabinet's aren't too bad, but there isn't enough countertop space to host dinner parties for our friends. With two to three people in the kitchen, it's completely full. We knew we weren't going to get granite, but we would love more of a functional space that enables us to host our friends for a fun evening in or a holiday with our families.
