If you haven't explored Camden, ME, you absolutely have to. This past weekend we stayed at the Samoset in Rockland. It's an exquisite hotel that recently underwent renovations. Every room has an ocean view while overlooking the prestigious golf course.

We chose to take advantage of being closer to a ski mountain by downhill skiing at Snow Bowl. It's a small mountain, but just the right mix of trails to give us confidence after not skiing for several years.

Both The Samoset and Snow Bowl hold a special place in my heart. My parents got married at the resort, and I used to ski with my brother at Snow Bowl as my grandparents lived in Camden. I also have fond memories of the toboggan shoot, something I vow to revisit next year!
